It’s been a while since I posted, so I thought I’d drop a line and let everyone know that I’m still alive! It’s a busy, busy fall for me, and I’m just lovin’ it!
The last couple of weeks in September were special for me. As much as I love my clients, sometimes it is important to take time off and just shoot for myself. I worked on a couple of personal projects, shot a couple more Trash the Dress sessions, met up with Jessica (a beautiful, sweet model from Waterloo), and spent some time with my amazing family. It was a great way to unwind before October got here, and now I’m ready to go for the fall busy season!
October and November are crazy-busy, and I’m looking forward to it. Tomorrow, Heidi and Dave are tying the knot. I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for weeks. Heidi is a natural in front of the camera, and I love capturing her smile and the looks of love that Dave shoots her way. They are an amazing couple, and we are going to create some amazing images together!
Throughout the month, keep an eye out for me around Southeast Iowa. I’ve got plenty of family, senior, and engagement sessions planned for all over, and am looking forward to diving into the beautiful fall colors of Burlington and surrounding areas! Even though I am completely booked for October, I do have some availability in mid-November for last-minute fall sessions. And don’t worry about it being too cold, it just makes for more memories and more creative shots!

Now, the most exciting part of my fall…traveling! We all know that I love to travel, possibly more than I love photography (and if you’ve ever talked with my about photography, you know I can barely sit still talking about that!). So, when I get to combine the two, I am thrilled. For three weeks in a row, from the end of October to the middle of November, I’ll be traveling all over, meeting up with other photographers and clients, some local, some out of state, and even one out of the country.
It is going to be a great fall!!! 🙂.
