Trisha & Tanner

So, I promised a peak at this wedding back in October, but obviously with my traveling, the blog was a little neglected.  So, at long last, here are Trisha and Tanner!  This amazing couple blew my mind with the pink and black wedding colors (pink is my favorite color!!) and their attention to detail.  It was such a beautiful wedding!  I had an incredibly hard time narrowing down my favorites, so you are going to be seeing a lot of this wedding in this post!

Without further ado…

I love dogs, so when Trisha brought up the idea of bringing Indy, their min-pin, for some pics, I couldn’t say no!  Trisha and I actually first met at the annual pet parade at Horse and Hound in 2006, where both of our dogs won a prize.  Ironically, this year, the pet parade was on the day of their wedding, and started about the time they were walking down the aisle, so we couldn’t go.  I think it was worth it, though. 🙂

Tanner is a racer, so after the wedding, we headed out to the 34 Raceway for some fun shots on the track – with the limo!

Their reception was at the Pzazz! Event Center in the new Catfish Bend Casino.  Trisha blew my mind with pumpkins covered in PINK and BLACK GLITTER!  It sounds weird, but they were beautiful!

Trisha - Wendi- Thanks for all the compliments! The pictures look wonderful, as I have said many times before. It was nice seeing you at the Bridal Show, you have a nice glow! I promise this was the last year I will attend!

Class of 2008 – Valaree

Valaree wanted something unique, but personal to mark her senior year.  What better way to make it personal than to do it right at home?  I traveled down to rural Donnellson, and we had some fun making use of the places she is most comfortable.  It was fun, even though her dog insisted on being in half the shots, and her younger brother insisted we use his car.  🙂

Valaree, I hope your senior year is everything you hope for it to be!  You are an amazing young woman, and I see a bright future for you!

I absolutely love her stare – so intense and full of emotion.  Most of my favorites don’t have smiles, but that’s ok!

Yes, folks, she is on a trampoline – in her prom dress!

A couple of my favorites, playing around at sunset

And her brother got his way – we used the headlights of his car on these last two, taken after the sun was long gone from the sky.

Val - I love the shots at sunset!!!!

It is 1:00am, and I am in a posting mood.  I’ve got two for tonight, and will hopefully have a few more soon!  Keep checking the blog for new images!.

Burlington Radio Bridal Show 2008

Just a quick thank you to all of those that stopped at out booth at the bridal show today!  It was great seeing so many smiling faces, despite the heat of the building and the throng of the crowd!  🙂  All of the vendors had such beautiful setups, too.  Style By Design made me want to get married all over again, and have 5 different cakes and receptions.  Petal Pushers had the most amazing decorated pillars.  Aunt Beas had my mouth watering with their hor’dourves.  Di’s put on a great fashion show, and Purple Star Entertainment rocked the DJ booth.

I even saw a couple familiar faces from weddings I shot this past year!  Silly married people, going to a bridal show.  🙂

Here are a few details from my booth:

Did you get your gourmet hot chocolate?  Delicious!

A big thanks goes to Devan Whitson for helping me out today, too.  Devan will be second shooting with me in 2008, and she has a wonderful eye!  She’s a good friend, too, and I can’t thank her enough!.

Devan - Aw, thanks. I found this while googling myself…lol!

Amy Benzenhafer - Great stuff, Wendi!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to my wonderful friends and clients.  No pretty pictures today, just warm wishes for a great day!.
