Last weekend I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Stacey and Jeremy. It was a beautiful day, with a beautiful couple! Jeremy is a United States Marine, and the wedding was complete with a Sword Detail.
Moments after seeing other for the first time…very emotional!
S&J walked out under the swords, and stopped at the end. Stacey was welcomed to the Marines with a smack on the butt with a sword! The surprise on her face, and the knowing smile of her groom, were priceless!
Isn’t she just stunning? Her shoes were great, too!
The reception at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Fort Madison was beautiful. I’ve never seen so many origami cranes in one place. There were hundreds, all over every surface!
I stole a moment alone with tbe bride and groom before leaving the reception, and love the raw emotion of a couple in love.
Brittany and Terry were married on September 20, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day! The skies were bright blue, the weather was perfect, and the wedding party kept me laughing all day long!

I have been shooting this beautiful family for a while now. I’ve shot their wedding, “M” when he was 6 months old, and now, he’s two and they are expecting another little boy! Jenna, you are so beautiful, and you kind of make me miss my big pregnant belly!
Baby Boy #2 is due in a few weeks, and I will be honored to be a part of another milestone in this beautiful family’s story as I join them at the hospital when he arrives!
If baby boy #2 is half as cute as his big brother, these two will be fighting off the girls early!

I agree with Devan. I really like the last shot. Have fun with them at the hospital! It’ll probably bring back some memories for you.
Last November during my trip to Mexico, I met the amazing Dennis Orchard, and while we were loading up one day to go shoot the models, snapped an image of his while he was getting his equipment ready. He absolutely loved it, and told me he wanted to use it for his headshot, so I emailed it to him and didn’t really give it another thought. After all, he is this big-time British photographer and WPPI judge with awards out the wazoo, and I’m just some piddly small-timer from Iowa.Well, I was just browsing the WPPI classes to decide what I want to do in February, and there it is! My image!
