My absolute favorite place to photograph newborn sessions is in my clients’ homes. It is so much more relaxing and natural and I feel so much freedom! When Mallory and Spencer asked me to join them in their home in the Quad Cities, I was excited! As a bonus, I got lots of puppy and kitty snuggles, too!

April was a super busy month and May is shaping up to be as well! I’ve been spending my days with lots of new little babies, and my heart is so incredibly full! “Better your heart than your uterus” my husband would say. All these little ones definitely help my baby fever, as does my teething toddler. 🙂 I keep telling him, just a couple more years, and we are totally going to add #3 to our little family!
I wanted to share a few of my favorite sessions from the last couple of weeks. Some of these beautiful moms are first time moms, others are moms of more, but they are all amazing and wonderful and loved!
Way, way back in 2006, not long after I opened WRP, Bobbi called me to set up a newborn session for her daughter, and over the next year, I grew along with Ady and her brothers. A few weeks ago, I photographed this beautiful family again, and just can’t get over the smiles on these kids faces! I am always so honored when past clients come back, and I love capturing new memories for them!

They were such sweet little angels the day of their session! I love baby snuggles and got plenty of them!
