You’ve seen bits and pieces of this session over the last year. Callie and I met while she was pregnant, and she told me she loved Winnie the Pooh, especially Eeyore. She had ordered an Eeyore outfit on Etsy that we hoped to use for his newborn session, and it sounded so cute! Well, the Eeyore outfit didn’t arrive before Jarrett was born, so the morning of Jarrett’s newborn session, I messaged her to see if she had any classic or vintage Pooh books, and she grabbed a couple. We got to talking during that session and thought we would try Eeyore later, so she messaged the Etsy seller to get it in a bigger size. It was then we had the idea to do other characters, too. We wanted to keep them simple and understated, so that the focus was still on Jarrett. I reached out to some friends that make upcycled baby outfits for Pooh and Piglet, and I picked up the Tigger pieces for his 12 month session shortly after he turned 3 months! We had to incorporate Christopher Robin, too, of course! And to finish it all off, we had a Winnie the Pooh cake smash!

Jarrett is such a serious little man, and refused to smile for me until, of course, he was dressed up as Eeyore! Silly boy!
