Wedding Books and Wall Art – Wendi Riggens Photography

Today we wanted to share some wedding pieces that are getting ready to ship to a client! Becca & Crane had a beautiful outdoor wedding on a farm, and when we designed their wall art and album, we wanted to select products that would compliment the overall feel of their wedding.

Their package included a stunning wall art piece and a coffee table album, among other things. I LOVE how these turned out!

First, I do have to say, of all the wall art pieces I have ordered over the years, this is one of the most unique ones ever. Yes, it is of their feet. And yes, it is going on their wall. I’ve heard the story several times now and it still gives me shivers!

“My grandparents were set up on a blind date over 50 years ago, as a double date with a friend. Grandma wore her favorite pair of heels, but when she walked in the door and Grandpa stood up and she saw that he was shorter than her, she whispered to her friend, “Go to the car and get my flats”! Fast forward 5 decades, and you’ll hear Crane tell the story of the night I walked into the bar he was at. He immediately knew that he had to talk to the girl in the red high heels. We were married on my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary. When trying to decide what shot we wanted for our wall art, we both kept coming back to this one. It’s perfect!”

For their wedding book, Becca and Crane decided on a very stylish coffee table album. These slim books are very contemporary and look absolutely amazing!

To keep up with the very natural feel of their wedding, we went with a canvas cover, that compliments the burlap that was used throughout the wedding decor, and also went into the custom design created by our studio. The pages are a gorgeous cotton art paper that absorbs the colors in the most amazing way. It has the softest feel and a subtle texture to it, and is my favorite paper for this type of design.
