Introducing the NEW face of Wendi Riggens Photography:

WendiRiggens.com!!!!!

It’s faster, it’s slicker, it’s more awesome-r!  🙂

To celebrate, we are doing lots of fun giveaways and prizes on Facebook, including free portrait sessions, wedding gifts, and free mobile sites to other photographers!  Check us out!!

It’s been a long road getting to this point.  We changed our name from Inspired Images by Wendi to Wendi Riggens Photographer late in 2008/early 2009, and have been actively building a new brand for the business for about 18 months now (had been talking about it long before that).  I worked with several graphic designers and fell in love with the look that Chris Ford at CFordRun.com came up with for me!  It totally speaks to the kind of person I am and the style of work that I do!

The new website is full of amazing images and loads of information, and we will be adding more all the time!   All client images are now live at wendiriggens.com/proofs.  The blog has obviously been moved to wendiriggens.com/blog.  Be sure to check it out often for updates and new images!

Thank you to everyone that has helped get me to this point.  Dave Wolanski and Patrick Warnecka, your advice and support has been invaluable.  My best friend Devan and my husband Travis, thank you for putting up with the late nights and the frantic phone calls and never-ended love and support.  To Shannon Casey and Susan Wirkes and everyone that helped with the editing on the site, wow, you are awesome!  To Chris Ford, the guys at ProPhoto, Brian at iFolios.mobi, and Tim at PicturesPro.com, thank you for the awesome products and services that have given me the new look and an awesome website! There are so many more to thank but I am tired and really need a nap.  This has been exhausting. 🙂.

   

Big things are right around the corner!

In 4 DAYS we launch our new website!!! I am so excited about this!  Over the weekend, the blog and client sites might be down for a little bit here and there, but don’t worry, we are just migrating things to the new site.  Keep an eye out next Tuesday for the new website and some waesome launch specials!.

Gulf of Mexico Maternity Session – Panama City Beach, Florida – Wendi Riggens Photography

While in Florida, my husband and I went on a snorkeling cruise, where I met Jessica, a beautiful woman with a cute little belly! She asked if I would do a few shots of her on the sailboat to put in her baby’s memory book, and of course, I said yes! It was difficult to stand on the boat as the waters were getting rough, but it was such a fun experience!

Annie & Shane’s Wedding Reception – Ft. Madison, Iowa – Wendi Riggens Photography

This past Saturday was Annie & Shane’s wedding reception back home in Iowa.  We had a great time at the Comfort Suites in Ft. Madison! Here are a few of my favorite images from the night.

Check out their awesome custom guestbook! These are such a great addition to your engagement session! Sure, you can buy a boring traditional guestbook, but will you ever look at it again? With our custom guestbooks, you can set it out for everyone to see!

This just might be my favorite reception shots ever. Keep an eye on Shane’s twin brother, Shawn, in the white shirt. He cracks me up! Run, Shawn, run!
