Birth photography is one of my absolute favorite facets of this career. Seeing a woman become a mother, a new little baby take her first breath, the look of shock and relief on mom’s face as she realized she is done, that she did it, that her little one is here.
I arrived at the hospital less than 20 minutes before little Lauren made her grand appearance to the world. As my doula friend Lisa says, when you think you can’t do it, it’s already done. So very true! Krystal was amazing, making it through her labor and delivery unmedicated and all natural. 
This moment, this is the moment that always brings me to tears!
