I seem to run into John Lovretta from The Hawk Eye a lot! I’ve seen him downtown while I was shooting an engagement session,at the soldiers’ homecoming last fall, and even at a wedding last summer. He even photographed my little family a couple of summers ago for an article my friend Craig was writing about unique last names. Last Wednesday night, he came up to my new loft studio at 409 N 4th Street to shoot me for an article that Rex was writing for the business section.
I must say, as much of a ham as I am, being on the other side of the camera makes me a little bit nervous! I had two sessions to shoot while he was there, and it was quite entertaining to be photographed while I was working. Then he made ME sit in front of the lights and smile! Of course, I made LOTS of funny faces. Would you expect anything else?
Here are just a few shots that he sent me. I absolutely love them!
Hanging out with Baby Kaylee, who loved my Pocket Wizards!

Sometimes you just need a mustache. They really are quite humorous! I think Drake agrees!

Told you I made some funny faces….
We had to show off our Kissing Booth!
Quite possibly my favorite shot of me. 🙂
With my son, the photo crasher!
