Babies Babies Babies!!!

Watch out!  I have a lot to post!

In the last several weeks, I’ve been busy, not only with photography, but life in general.  I’ve photographed two live births, several engagement sessions, road tripped with two of my best friends to Nashville for another engagement session, celebrated Christmas and NYE with our families, set up at the Ft Madison bridal show, and am now planning two more trips to St. Louis and Denver!  It’s been exciting and fun!

Maddox, our son, is growing like a weed, and I’ll try to post a few of him, too.  As of last weekend, he is sitting up unassisted, and loves green beans.  He’s 5 1/2 months old, and it just seems so surreal most days.  He has the most amazing smile and laugh, and I adore the little guy!  There is nothing more heart-warming than walking into the nursery in the morning, peering over the edge of his crib, and seeing that grin of recognition and love.  Now, truth be told, I do get tired of photographing him myself after a while, and he has been to visit a few local photographers.  Devan, of course, has had plenty of playtime with him and the camera.  He visited Kim LaFauce at Kim Anne Photography for Christmas shots with Santa (which we love, thank you Kim!!), and recently visited Deb over at Cole’s in Biggsville.  The first professional image that Travis and I ever had together was by Deb, at Travis’s prom, and it is still stuck up on our fridge.  🙂

Speaking of my amazing husband, this year, Travis and I will be celebrating 10 years together!  In a few weeks, we are flying out to Denver to visit one of my best friends, and I can’t wait.  We likely won’t be able to get away on our actual anniversaryue to an exceptionally busy wedding season, so this will be a great trip to spend time together as a family!  It will be Maddox’s first flight, too, so wish us luck!

Ok, now on to the images!!!!.
